History Trip

50 students from years 8, 9 and 12 accompanied by 6 staff enjoyed a long weekend exploring and learning in Northern France and Belgium.

Students got to indulge in a chocolate making experience and made several chocolate purchases before the next day learning, courtesy of a tour guide and our #History teachers, about the sacrifices made in the areas around #Ypres during the First World War. The students then attend the #LastPost Ceremony in the evening, where 2 of our students laid a wreath on behalf of the school.

Before travelling home we spent time in Boulogne at the food market and then going on to the Nausicaa sealife centre. A memorable weekend for all!
