Sixth Form

The King John Sixth Form is in the top 20% of A Level Providers nationally for progress, benchmarked against other schools and colleges in the UK.

Students go on to university, employment and further training from the Sixth Form. Information, advice and guidance about post-18 provision supports our students accessing the correct courses and succeeding in their next steps. Our typical university entrance rate is around 65% with many others going on to prestigious degree based apprenticeships and job roles in London.

This progression is supported by outstanding attainment. In 2025:

  • 62% of grades achieved were A*-B
  • 59% of vocational grades were Distinction*-Distinction
