Key Stage 5 Mathematics
Our aim as The King John Sixth Form Mathematics Department is to develop strong and competent mathematicians, that can go on to study mathematics in higher education, or apply their skills learnt on the course, to a breadth of working environments.  With our highly qualified, enthusiastic and experienced teachers, we aim to challenge and engage our students so that they finish the course with a solid grounding and love of mathematics.

Students will study a variety of pure mathematics and applied mathematics during their A-Level Mathematics course, whilst those that opt for Further Mathematics, will benefit from exposure to more abstract mathematics and applied concepts.

The Key Stage 5 Mathematics Department at King John, prides itself on the support provided for its students.  With regular revision classes and support sessions, students have the guidance they need to help them succeed at the highest levels in A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
