Health and Vaccinations

The School wishes to ensure that all children with special medical needs receive proper care and support at school. To achieve this, it is important that a partnership between parent, child and school is established and for all parties to appreciate their responsibilities and what it is reasonable to expect. Parents are responsible for making sure that their child is well enough to attend school.

Parents and Carers of children with a medical need will be required to complete an Individual Medical Care Plan on an annual basis to ensure that the information that we have on our students is up-to-date. The Individual Medical Care Plan can be downloaded via the link at the side of this page, and should be completed and submitted to the medical assistant Mrs Turp in paper or email form.
Any child requiring regular/prescribed medication for medical needs (e.g. Asthma, Anaphylaxis/allergic reactions, Migraines or Diabetes) must ensure that the school is provided with in date medication as prescribed by the GP.

Please note that parents and carers are responsible for ensuring that all medical information regarding their child is communicated with the school.
