VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

BTEC and OCR Cambridge Technical:

These are vocational qualifications normally studied over two years and – with assessments based mostly on assignments undertaken during the course – there are fewer exams at the end. They are also often tailored towards a specialised industry or sector, designed specifically to give you the skills and knowledge employers want for their staff.

The courses are available in a number of different subjects, making them the perfect alternative for anyone who wants to stay in education but doesn’t want to take A-Levels.
