We teach Politics to:
- To have a deeper understanding of the UK and US political systems.
- To enable students to identify parallels, connections, similarities and differences comparing UK and USA government and politics and appreciating the UK’s position in global politics.
- To gain a deeper understanding of the world we live in, creating global citizens.
- To critically appraise the different political theories and key political concepts.
- To understand that we are different and our views should be respected.
