Sporting Achievements

We strive for sporting excellence, and there is an impressive range of opportunities in which students can represent the school locally, regionally and nationally.

We are proud of our students’ participation rates, and their enthusiasm for our extensive extra-curricular sporting timetable before, during, and after school. Our sporting expertise puts us at the top of the county and national championships in a whole range of sports.

We also host a wide range of sporting competitions and community sport activities throughout the year. We have state-of-the-art sports facilities for all students to access, including a sports hall, gymnasium, fitness suite, dance studio, modern athletics area, sports field and netball courts.

RECENT INTERNATIONAL HONOURS:

Jessica Judd – Represented Great Britain in athletics and England in the Commonwealth Games
Max Crumpton – Plays in the Rugby for Harlequins . Represented England Rugby in U16 and U20 age groups
Kiera Tippett – Great Britain Biathlon
Ted Smith – Southend United and England Football

PREVIOUS STUDENTS SUCCESS

Jackson Wray – Over 250 games for Saracens in the English Premiership Capped every level for England except full honours. Over 50 European rugby appearances. Three time European Rugby Champion. Premiership winner.
Amanda Parker – World Champion Trampolining
Gianni Frankis – Great Britain and Italy Athletics – 110m hurdles
