Green Flag Eco-School
WE DID IT!
What is an Eco-School?
The Eco-Schools programme provides a framework to empower young people to make a difference in their school, local community and beyond. Since 1994, millions of young people around the world have worked through the Eco-Schools programme before being recognised for their efforts with a prestigious, internationally recognised Eco-Schools Green Flag.
Our three topics were waste, energy and litter.
The group is made from students representing Year 7 through to Year 13. They worked on various projects to combat litter, reduce waste and improve the biodiversity on the school grounds. We are continuing to work on projects this year to create a positive Eco-School legacy and extend this positivity in the local community.
