We teach Psychology to

• Develop a passion in students for understanding the mind and how it affects behaviour
• Enable students to understand the behaviour of those around them thus becoming empathetic individuals
• Help students understand themselves
• Allow students to utilise the scientific method in a different setting
• Develop independent learners in preparation for studies within higher education or the workplace
• Develop application of psychological knowledge to the world around us
• Develop analysis and evaluation skills so that students can effectively discuss different psychological views and research
