King John Academy of Arts  

The King John Arts Academy started in January 2012 and is celebrating 10 years of delivering classes to young people.

It is an academy that focuses on meeting the needs and developing key artistic and social skills for the local community. Any profits made go directly into arts provisions at The King John School.

Vision:

  • To create a fun and safe environment to enable every learner to develop confidence, potential and life skills.
  • To provide high quality tuition from professional practitioners.

 

LAMDA Drama

 Sessions run every Monday 3.15-4.15pm

  • Ideal for: 10-18 years old
  • A LAMDA qualification is achieved
  • Develop acting skills
  • Develop confidence

We are proud to offer LAMDA examination classes again. We have a class for everyone, from new- comers to advanced.

These classes will develop an understanding of text, an exploration of character and motivation as well as developing key life skills in a fun
environment. Students will take part in a variety of improvisation designed to develop confidence and communication skills.

The classes run each term, for 10 weeks, on a Monday, after school, in GE8 Drama studio, at The King John School.

The cost per term (all 10 sessions) is only £70.
Payment will need to be received prior to the first lesson each term.
Payment must be received before the 1st class or the student will be unable to start the term.
Please forward a cheque to Ms Newman or deliver to the Main Reception in an envelope marked F.A.O Ms S Newman.
