Drama
We teach Drama to
- Inspire, engage and prepare our students as life-long learners, with a high level of social and cultural capital
- Give our students social, interpersonal and transferable, day to day skills, such as confidence, cooperation, concentration, creativity and communication
- Give our students the ability to recognise and understand, the relationship between performer, designer and director and the language associated with these roles
- Give our students the understanding that texts and extracts and characters studied may represent a range of social, historical and cultural contexts
- Give our students the ability to devise creatively and analyse and evaluate their work and the work of others
- Give our students the ability to understand how performance texts can be interpreted and performed
