Critical Thinking is particularly recommended for those intending to apply for Law or Medicine courses at university where critical reasoning tests may be used as part of the selection process.
Critical Thinking is increasingly being used to select students for over-subscribed courses to differentiate between students who have similar results/predicted grades at their time of application.

Students should have achieved a good grade at GCSE English Language. Students need to be able to read and comprehend complex passages at speed.
Critical Thinking aims to improve the thinking skills of students. They are taught how to evaluate the arguments of others and to construct logical arguments of their own.
