The History department prides itself in instilling a love of History in all of our students. We have a strong uptake at GCSE, consistently being one of the most popular option choices in the school. At Key Stage 3 students complete a project homework each half term which encourages them to think outside the box and for home to get involved. At Key Stage 4 students study GCSE over the course of three years. Key Stage 5 students study a breadth of History covering revolutions in Europe.
In recent years trips have been made to Ypres and the World War One Battlefields, Berlin and to the D-Day Landing Normandy Beaches.
Instilling a love of History in all students.
