At The King John School we are very proud of the catering facilities provided for us by "Mitie Catering".  The Manageress, Gail Howie, and her hard-working team deliver a first-class service.

Pupils are served quickly and efficiently in a self-service cafeteria to which pupils will have access at breaktime (11.05 – 11.25am) and every lunchtime (1.30 – 2.20pm).  There is an ample choice of hot food including pasta dishes, rice dishes, traditional meals as well as baguettes from our Deli Bar.  Vegetarian options are always available.  A wide range of salad dishes, fresh fruit and hot puddings, is also on offer at lunchtime.  Healthy choices are encouraged and fresh, iced water is always on tap!

Freshly-made sandwiches and drinks can be obtained from vending machines and the Tuck Shop at all break times.  There is also a Snack Stop service available at morning break and lunchtime and for any 'early bird', breakfast is served from 8.00am.

We suggest  £3.00 - £4.00 per day to buy a school lunch and a drink.

Payment for any purchase is made via a biometric system.
