Partnership with Parents to Raise Achievement
Many of you have told us how you would like some guidance in supporting your son/daughter at home and we agree that education works best when it is a genuine partnership between home and school. Thank you for attending the partnership with parents meeting in October. We provided guidance material to take away – an electronic copy can be found by following the links to the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 sections on the right side of this page. Alternatively collect a hard copy from student services if you were unable to attend. The booklet covers:
- How do I support my son/daughter in raising their achievement?
- How do I promote effective study skills at home with my son/daughter?
- How can I help them improve their current grades?
- E-safety guidance
- By working together with the school, parents can create a fantastic home learning environment and help to reinforce lessons learned in school. Even if your child is doing well you can be instrumental in driving that achievement further.
