At The King John School we pride ourselves on the range of activities we offer for our Extra – Curricular Programme. All students have the option to take part in various sports including, Netball, Hockey, Basketball, Football, Rugby, Cricket, Rounders, Athletics, Cross Country and many more. We have an excellent reputation not only within the District but also the Country. In a recent article featured in The Daily Mail newspaper, The King John School were ranked 26th in the country based on our Extra-Curricular success. We have seen students from all walks of life enjoy and take part in fixtures, trips abroad playing in tournaments and competing with much success at a National Level also. Some of our successes to date are: National Athletics Finalists for the past 4 years. Essex Cup Girls Football Champions 4 years in succession. Regular Regional Finalists for Cross Country. Basketball Essex Cup Finalists. U14 Netball Regional Finalists. District Swimming Champions and many more.


Ski Trips
Every year the King John School takes students on a ski trip. The trips have been taken to Europe and North America and in recent years the trip alternates between the two continents giving students the opportunity to ski in either destination.
